Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in the Global Evidence and Implementation Summit 2018 (GEIS).

​

Held in Melbourne, Australia in October 2018, GEIS brought together experts from across the world to talk about their experiences in generating and implementing evidence for better policy and practice. More than 650 delegates from 40 countries attended the summit to hear the latest evidence synthesis and implementation science research and practice strategies for improving the lives of individuals, families and communities worldwide. The summit explored the evidence for designing, implementing and reviewing effective programs and policies.

 

The Campbell Collaboration's What Works Global Summit will be held in Mexico in 2019. The Centre for Evidence and Implementation's Australasian Implementation Conference will be hosted in 2020. Who attended GEIS?

​The largest event of its kind worldwide, GEIS 2018 attracted more than 650 attendees from 40 countries. The summit was designed for funding agencies, policy makers, practitioners, knowledge brokers, implementation scientists and researchers committed to the generation and implementation of evidence for better policy and practice.
